So you go first, draw AGINTUU, and exchange UU. You draw EF.

Your opponent plays VOXEL#, which you challenge off.

What do you do now?

My play and analysis )

I'm pretty positive I'd play FEATING*. After all, they did just try VOXEL...

Hah.

I don't like naming names when it comes to brain farts. I suppose I should have established that this player won't let FEATING stay on the board :)

Knowing this player has great word knowledge, I might think that. Then again, FEATING and VOXEL are both SOWPODS. I'd go without FEATING, ultimately, and you know this player better than I do. Quackle probably likes FAGIN well because opp has A I or U less than 50% of the time. The times when opp plays XU/XI/LAX are made up for by the times when opp plays VEX. VEX/FE/AX is of course more lucrative than VEX/FE/EX, since you have ET. So their equality really makes sense.

Forgot to also write that they make up for each other because LAX, XI, XU really don't score THAT much more than VEX.

Pretty sure I wrote A, it's what I intended if nothing else.
