He has only remembered small things lately, brief glimpses from his childhood: his parents' faces, a trip to the seashore, playing on the lawn outside the house, winning an essay competition at school

[Few things happen in Sirocco at night without getting Supernova's attention. Especially not things involving guys in weird costumes flying through the sky using fire. So it's not long after Yuri lands that there's a flash of light and Supernova appears, hovering over a nearby rooftop. He approaches Yuri more directly from there, and nods professionally when he comes level with him.]

[He turns and regards the other masked figure silently for a moment before he returns the nod and speaks.]

Good evening.

[His voice sounds different, within the mask. He doesn't quite feel like himself, but he doesn't know what he does feel like.]

I haven't seen you around here before. I'm Supernova. Who are you?

No, I haven't showed myself before now, Supernova.

I have no name to speak of. [He won't give his real name. If he has another one, he isn't sure of it yet...]

[It's late for Keith, but he's up because he wanted to fly under the stars. He hasn't yet remembered that he needs equipment to gain speed, so he's doing it the old fashioned way, catching the wind and manipulating it. Keith looks a lot like a man swimming in midair.

He can see the blue glow of the flames, brighter and closer and quicker than the light of the stars. He follows it to its source. The man in the mask seems lost in thought. Keith speaks softly, not wanting to startle him.]

Hello-- I saw you flying, do you propel yourself? With the flames?

I'm Keith.

[He turns, slowly. Of course, he recognizes Keith at once, but he doesn't identify himself, and his voice is altered.]

That's right.

Hello, Keith.

[Palom is up late at night because... well. Because he's a five year old little brat. When he sees the Mysterious Figure, he perks up immediately and begins to steathily - or what passes for steathily, chase after.

If Yuri stays on the roof long enough, he will eventually be confronted by a beaming Palom bursting out from the building's roof access.]

Hah! There's nowhere to run now! You're a burglar, right? You look just like what a burglar would look like!

[Yuri tilts his head a little to one side. Of course he knows Palom, but his voice is disguised in this mask, and he doesn't reveal his true identity.]

I am not a criminal.

[He holds out his empty hands, spreading them wide.] I have no stolen goods and no desire to steal.

Then why're you dressed up all funny and running around in the middle of the night, huh? You just haven't had the chance 'cause I caught you!

[He is much too excited about this.]

[He glances down at himself.] This is a costume. A burglar would wear something less noticeable.

[He doesn't know why he has it, but he does. It seemed normal to put it on.] I came up here to see the city. [But it isn't exactly the view he's interested in so much as something he can't define, something he's looking for without knowing what it is.]

[It didn't take long for Saleh to find something appealing about higher places, and it took only a little longer to realize why. Consequently, he finds himself at a roof top (for no reason, really, since he's got too much time on his hands) when he catches sight of blue flashes disappearing to the other side through his peripherals. He investigates, naturally.

And what an interesting sight it is that greets him!]

My, my, that must've been quite the flight.

[He recognizes that voice and turns to see Saleh. His face is hidden behind his mask, his voice disguised, but his eyes give off flames.]

I found it no different than any other flight. [Now that his control has returned, he can fly anywhere, fly through things, and it seems so easy to him.]

[For a second, his gaze lingers on those oh-so interesting eyes. Then he chuckles, and he gestures to the sky -- the city -- around them.]

Really now? Do you do this often?

[The flames die away, then there is only the mask and its empty eyes.]

As often as I like, but I have not been here before.
