Um… I know there have been complaints about using the phones for personal announcements… but I remembered some new information and I’m… I’m just so happy! I’ve remembered my home!

I lived in a place called Jinbocho. It was a neighborhood that specialized in book stores! There was a street of nothing but book shops for as far as the eye could see ( Read more... )

An avid reader? If you don't mind my asking, what kinds of literature do you enjoy the most?

Oh, I love them all! It would be so hard to single out a particular one, each genre has different characteristics that make them unique and wonderful!

Do you like books, sir?

I do, though my tastes are not nearly as open as yours are. I indulge primarily in classical literature and history.

That sounds like a very pleasant place to live. I'm quite fond of reading, myself.

Oh, really? It's wonderful to meet other fans of the written word! I take it that you've been to the library here?

Yes, I have. I spend a great deal of time there, as a matter of fact. Not all for pleasure, however. I avail myself of their study rooms, as I'm currently studying for the bar exam.

I do try to make time to read some things for enjoyment, as well.

Ah, that makes sense. I was wondering how I had missed another book lover, but I spend most of my time in the fiction shelves!

My name is Yomiko, Yomiko Readman! May I ask your name?

That's great Yomiko! I'm really glad you remembered something so nice about your home.

You're right, there have been complaints about the use of the phones for announcements, but I don't really understand why that's a problem. After all, we have to stick together and support each other, since we're the only people we know.

I enjoyed your announcement. Please don't feel shy about making more!

Th-thank you very much!

I thought it was a bit odd myself... I enjoy hearing about the memories other people recover. Still, I didn't want to upset anyone either...

How have you been?

Really now...I honestly see no harm in using phones for personal announcements especially when someone remembers something. I guess you can say it gives people hope to hang in there.

You think so too? I enjoy listening to what people remember, but I didn't want to upset anyone...

Thank you for sharing your opinion with me! I don't think I've spoken with you before... may I ask your name?

Who cares what that stuffy old guy thought, announce away! But the people at home sound really nice!

Oh, well... I don't want to upset anyone. Maybe he had some pressing personal concerns...

Oh, they were wonderful people! They always made me feel so warm and invited... I suspect I might have been an easy customer to please though... I haven't encountered the book here that I didn't enjoy!

I'm sorry, I'm kind of rambling now, aren't I?
