[Audio]I'm curious. Of all the slow trickle of memories we've been recovering, who among us has remembered his or her parents? Looking back, it's strange to think this is something I heard from an adult... but he, and I by extension, wanted to be a hero.

Not at all. He once told me his impossible, youthful wish to create a world where no one had to be killed, and I offered to take that burden on myself. The absurdity of it is nostalgic.

I don't know a thing about my birth parents, but I do remember the family that took me in.

I don't remember a great deal about them, but it seems like they're the reason I decided to become a hero.
