[Oh look it's this jerk again. He's lounging on the couch again, this time without beer. For the time being anyway. He has the most smug grin on his face imaginable right now.]Listen up, citizens of Sirocco! Lots of you doubted the awesomeness of I, Gilbert Beilschmidt! Yes, that's right, I have recalled my full name! Isn't it the coolest name ever ( Read more... )

Sooooo what you're saying is you're proud of having to gather a bunch of guys together in order to beat up a single nerd.

The nerd and his army! It was a battle!

So it's more like you beat the ARMY, not the nerd specifically. You should probably be a little more specific about crap like that. Anyway, what's so great about that sort of thing anyway, unless the other guy had a better army?

Hey, the nerd was like the enemy's general or something, beating him was obviously important! And duh, it means I lead a really strong army!

I think you might want to retract that bet.

In other words, you're afraid to hear the truth.

No, I just don't care what a sissy loser like you has to say.

We haven't met yet, Gilbert, so I never doubted you.
But I don't think that violence is really the way to solve conflicts. Were any civilians harmed while your were fighting?

I think people will like and respect you because you use your strength to defend and protect people, not just fight to show that you're better than someone else.

I'm Keith, by the way! It's nice to meet you!

Hey, I don't remember why I was fighting. All I know is that it was a huge battle between two armies and that other sissy general got his ass kicked.

I think the only cause worth fighting in is a just cause.
Was the other general a wrongdoer?

How should I know? I've only remembered so much of this.

[Without beer? Blasphemy! Al's here to fix that! He comes tromping in with a case under his jacket, since he just has this nagging feeling he really shouldn't be in possession of it. But whatever. He also watched the video post on his way over, grinning like a dumb-butt, and drops the case onto the counter after locking the door behind him.]

So what the fuck, are you some kind of military general or something?

[He tears into the case, taking out two cans.]

And I'm way cooler than you, don't lie.

[Gilbert grins from ear to ear at the sight of the beer. Well, and Alfred, too, but the beer is more important, no hard feelings, bro. He grabs his own can and pops it open, taking a gulp of it.]

Guess I am. That's pretty damn cool, huh?

Pfff, as if. You're still pretty cool, though.
