[As he often does, Yuri is sitting in the park on one of its many benches, quietly eating his lunch. He's finished his sandwich, but he has some crusts of bread left and is idly feeding crumbs to the sparrows and pigeons that have gathered.]

[Keith doesn't know this man, but then he doesn't know very many people at all-- yet. He's feeling a little lonely, trapped in his own thoughts. Anyone who feeds birds has got to be nice, right? He takes his hands out of his jacket pockets and makes his approach, taking care not to startle the birds.]

Hello, I'm Keith! It's my first time here in the park-- do you come here to feed the birds a lot?

[He looks up at the sound of the voice and smiles. He'd been rather lost in thought himself, not so much thinking of anything in particular as just--lost.]

Hello, Keith. My name is Yuri. [He nods.] I eat lunch here most days, if the weather's fine. The birds do seem to recognize me now. [He glances down at them as they excitedly peck at the crumbs.]

[He wonders if this is a fellow sufferer of amnesia, as the park is so close to their residence.] Are you a new arrival? [He nods toward the hotel.]

[Keith smiles, glancing up from watching the birds.]

That's nice, that they recognize you, Yuri. So you've been here a while?
I did just get here, actually. I guess it shows!

[Keith makes a sudden movement, running a hand through his hair-- and a few of the birds in the group take flight. He watches them for a long moment, looking after them with a nameless expression.]

But-- yes, I am.

I get the feeling it wasn't really my thing, and it's not really now.

Yeah, the memory loss thing sucks, but lemme tell you, they aren't kidding you about those amana -- whatever the hell they are, they get results.

Nah, they're, like, these little jewel thingies, and when you give them to the right guys your memories come back. Didn't the lab mention that stuff?

Who, me? Well, I remembered a recipe, and that I used to go around saving people, but as far as hobbies not so much.

Wow, it's great you discovered you have a skill-- cooking is a good skill to have! Though saving people is better, of course!
What did you make?

Oh, [Keith laughs.] yeah I know about the anemoi. Sorry! Is "amana" a slang term?
