First post in a while

So here we are.  A lot of things have happened since I last posted.  It wasn't a conscious decision to stop, I just never got round to making the next post.  But as we are shut up at home, venturing out to the shops and for our daily state-mandated exercise, I am feeling that I would like to start communicating again

Nice to see you here again! Glad the two of you are adjusting okay. I hope you're getting food and supplies ok!

Oh yes, we are fine. We may not be able to get some things in the shops but there are generally substitutes, and we have the car so can go to different supermarkets if necessary. Trying not to hoard, but it is difficult not to pounce on tins of cannellini beans or a favourite type of pasta if you see it. Also there are local shops which often have not sold out of flour or pasta, though their opening hours are restricted now. Tried to go to the post office today, checked their website to see if it was open, website said it was, turned out it wasn't, should have tried the official Post Office website. You live and learn. What I am more worried about is food supplies in a few months' time, and wondering if I should start to grow potatoes. (I really don't want to grow potatoes!)
