Rs 50 please !!

I just realized today morning that I have a special liking for Rs 50(INR) notes and I never part with them !! I am usually fond of collecting and hoarding change, so even if I have change with me, I give Rs 100 for bus tickets ( Not regular BMTC buses, only Volvo, the regular guys would kill me, if I gave them Rs 100 ) and try to collect as much of

I think its only for some slabs, it got changed. The minimum is Rs 5 now, instead of Rs 10 for Volvo.

There exist people between POOR and RICH. Any drop in fares makes the service affordable to more people.

The drop in Volvo was only Rs 2 to Rs 5. and I believe they dropped fares for regular, pushpak and all services.

The new 5 rupee coins are stainless steel like the other lower denomination coins and it looks and feels really "cheap".

The Rs.20 note because they are so hard to come by.

I always liked old Rs.10 note (from the late 70s/early80s) probably has something to do with the fact that my weekly pocket money in school was Rs.10 and that was the only "different" note I got to have for many years.

I dont feel good about the Rs 20, bcos they actually have no real addtional advantage over a Rs 10:) They dont add much to making a sum :) But, yes, they are colorful and bright :)

I love coins more than notes...however I was always fascintated by 2Rs note which does not come any more.
