"Sammy." He pushed off the bed, walking toward his brother like he was an apparition. "You're..." He didn't say anything else, didn't even care that Sam was bitching him out for having (great) sex. He just wrapped his arms around his baby brother and squeezed. "Thought I'd failed you."

The youngest Winchester was a little surprised as Dean wrapped him in a bear hug. All it took Sam was a second, maybe less, to hug his brother back, returning the brotherly squeeze of 'I'm-glad-you're-not-dead' affection and pat Dean hard across the back.
"No, no... Dean, you were only missing for a couple hours." He said reassuring him.
"You said you were getting food so I waited, but after an hour I was starting to wonder... so I tried calling you, but the service provider said you were out of range... Eventually it said your number was completely out of service so I went looking for you.."
That was the incredibly short version of things. He'd fill in the blanks if Dean wanted. Right now he was just glad to see his brother was in one piece and okay...

No. It means that Yellow Eyes isn't here, and that Dad is, and that's a damn good thing. We'll be fine.

He didn't understand what it all was for. Why it was here, how it existed.. Why people were being led here because obviously they weren't the only ones-
Sam's attention was drawn back to Dean quite abruptly, uncertain if he had honestly heard what he'd just thought he heard. "What did you say?" Sam asked, blinking himself out of some kind of stupor.
