I know, right? I'm SO not a trekkie, but i thought it was funny...

Our yard looks flat out terrible! LOL... it's been SO hot and the tomatoes started giving up a while ago.. I'm debating on whether to plant "fall crops" or not... it's SO hot here and the weather is so unpredictable...

Back when I had the gardens, by this time every year I was almost willing to give up all together...

and my tomatoes didn't do worth a shit this year. so dry!!

Our tomatoes produced a TON, but none of them were worth eating... It seems that JUST as they began to get ripe, a bird would peck a small hole in them and then the bugs would take over from there... EVERY one of them. At one point, when they were green, I counted 90 tomatoes. We MIGHT have gotten 7 or 8 edible ones off all the plants combined. So incredibly FRUSTRATING!
