I think God will forgive you, given how you spent your time and how it's helping. Maybe you can go during the week to make it up?

i could go to weekday mass in town and scare the crap out of the priest. (this little lutheran pastor's wife has a catholic confessor because she gets along well with him.)

as long as i don't walk into the sacristy and go "yo padre ____! wassup?!?!?!?!?" i think i'll be ok.

actually, my husband (THE PASTOR) asked if i could please go and help lead music. so... i went and led music and came home and slept for 6 hours.
