No, don't give away your computer. You can donate your computer to help cure cance and alzheimers, while still using it!!!!!!!11!!!one!eleven
Basically, this probram "Folding@home" runs and uses your idle power to do work and then sends the work back to the central processor to recieve more work. Perfect for people like me who often leave their computer on 24/7 (I turned mine off for the first time in three weeks yesterday, and that was because it restarted itself automatically...)

Also, a version of this software will be included in the next firmware update for the PS3. Yes, a PS3 can cure cancer. Basically does the same thing as the version for PC, but uses the extra power availble from the super Cells embedded in your PS3. Its not like there's a whole lot else to do on the PS3 until Lair, MGS4, FF13, etc are released! (I kid, Resistance is awesome, esp online. And Motorstorm/Virtua Fighter, once i have the money to buy them....)
