Didn't I read something about playing in for a wild card?

Yes, but I'd rather get into the tournament proper and not put my eggs in the "doing well in a 7 game tournament the day of" basket.

Of course, I will be playing for the wild card if it comes to that...

And so will I. I'm only a few ranks up from Andy... My peak rating is 1491 and his is 1484, so here's hoping for BOTH of us that we can get in as the bottom seeds.

But, like Andy, I'll play in that Early Bird ("wild card") tourney as well if I don't squeak in.
