A wonderful week, and now the crushing end.

It always seems that I get this sort of news after something good. Kinda makes me think it's safer if I'm never happy. The aftermath, however unrelated, always seems to follow shortly after.

I hadn't talked to him for awhile, but he was a frnd, and I was not expecting this kind of phone-call.
