Re-iterating comments on Tumblr about everything the episode needed. DEAR GOD. I am keyboard smashy and flaily and running out the door - not a great combination - so I'm sorry this comment probably won't give this the kudos it deserves, but fuck. Hot and perfect. And I love love love the lead in, how you write them, how it doesn't feel unnatural at all. And that was a helluva last line. Perfect. Incisive and pithy and just wow. I really liked it.

The quality I've found on here has been amazing and inspiring. There's a small group of you on LJ that push me to be better and I have to thank you for that and for this perfection. Your dialogue was so them and I love the signature on her thigh, the mention that she had been to a signing, all of it. Sexy times was ... Sexy (Go figure!) But this...

I had originally copied the line where he says it to her because it was gorgeous and amazing and swoony (I enjoy using my own language, sorry.) However, this kills me. I love book dedications. I always read them and I strangely sometimes find more interest in that story than the novel itself. I love the Heat series dedications but I'm not sure any of them will ever top this one. It's beautiful and brilliant and them and it's knowing the story like you're part of an inside joke. Love, love, more than love

Thank youuu! That's how I feel as well. I feel overly critical of myself and others, and I always appreciate it when a group of people can push each other toward becoming better writers. I feel I haven't gotten to that point with C&B yet, but I can only hope to someday.

You mean you don't think you've pushed someone to become a better writer? Today I sat down to write something. It was C/B but just for me, a little scenario I had in my head but I couldn't figure out how to start. It's one of my least favorite parts of writing. So I opened this up and went to look at yours and then I did it. You did push me. And I just feel that as a writer, you should know that.

It was C/B but just for me, a little scenario I had in my head but I couldn't figure out how to start. It's one of my least favorite parts of writing. So I opened this up and went to look at yours and then I did it. You did push me. And I just feel that as a writer, you should know that.
That is truly amazing to hear, I don't even know what to say. But I have those moments when I'm reading something and things in my brain just CLICK and it's like magic. So amazing.

I can't even think about it, because if I do, I'll remember that Rook was injured and even though I trust Marlowe to fix whatever he breaks, I'm gonna be a mess this summer until the book is out. A MESS. Bawww.

This was fantastic. It was just what I would want to see wrapping up the wedding, and...well. The signature bit, both the title AND the fact that he wrote it on her thigh were hysterical, and the dedication sounds just like something he would do.
