Oh, this is wonderful. So very in character for both of them. I loved Beckett proposing, and them still being them even after they got married.

I can't even comprehend what I've just read; somebody needs to go find a Ouija board, because this seriously just killed me. "canvas" and "denouement" are perhaps two of the most profoundly amazing Castle/Beckett vignettes I've ever read, not necessarily because of the smut, but because of little things like "etymology" and the typewriter; even in situations we haven't seen them in, their characterization is so on point I can't even stand it, so bravo to you. And lines like "He was afraid his writing career had ended that very second, because his brain had lost the ability to form coherent sentences. His hands might have been useless for typing out a novel, but there was still plenty use for them as he began exploring her legs, finding a perfect spot at the top of her outer thighs, rubbing his fingertips across the soft skin there." I'm going to revert to netspeak, because WHAT IS THIS I DON'T EVEN. Amazing

I quite enjoyed this - which is saying something because I usually have trouble with C/B marriage fics. I do like the way you've handled the progression from partners to more, and that you've included some of the struggles they might encounter along the way.
