Temple last night was interesting. Prayers and singing in Hebrew, jumped me a little, but I think I could get the hang of it. But it reminded me of why I'm not exactly religious, for the most part. As I was reading the English translation on the left, I just couldn't help but realize I don't believe in God

I'm struggling with the idea of believing in God, personally. For you, the existence or non-existence of God may simply be irrelevant right now, because this part of your life is about learning to rely on yourself. If a belief in a Higher Being of some sort helps you to do that, either by giving you a framework for moral/ethical decisions or by providing a sense that you have 'backup' somewhere in the universe, great. But if it isn't something you need right now, focus on what you do need and where you can find it.

Also, on the God thing--I think that's an important point. I don't even know who I am yet, and until I figure that out, I won't be able to extrovert myself fully. And isn't believing in something outside of yourself the first step toward God or something?
Dont' know what the road ahead holds. I may end up religious later on in life, but for now, it was very interesting to experience a little of that...

Yeah, srsly though, she's being a moron. "OMG LIKE YOU TOTALLY TOLD HIM I LIKED HIM OMG OMG OMG D<" is the one thing about women that makes me hate them. Most girls I know tell people they like someone so they can get help hooking up, but whatever. You freshies are a new breed :P
And if she's hanging out with him, then it obviously wasn't a MORTAL WOUND or anything, so she has no right to be a bitch. Just go up to her and be like, "Are you going to be angry at me for something that obviously hasn't had any ill-effects forever?" Or something like that. Srsly, though, you might want to stay away from drama queens. Like lions, they're fun to watch from a distance, but don't throw yourself into the cage with them.
