It must be Whittier-stock out there... something about a band jamming like it's 1967 (or 1976, eh,

I could relate to a great deal of this. It's interesting because in my late twenties (back in 1843) I had a difficult time during some acting exercises because I had a difficult time being part of the group. Later I looked at it and thought it had to do with a feeling similar to the one you expressed about not participating in all of this fun: That you may not be special.

Now, if you took a towel off and danced naked somewhere, that is far more than I ever did, or would want to do for that matter.

Anyway, well written and thought provoking.

Hee. Glad you said "well-written"... I always feel like I'm rambling, so I appreciate the compliment. ^_^

Well, I had boxers on, and like I said, it was dark...;P

But, oh my gosh! I am getting addicted to doing those crunches, and the butt exercises are sooo fun (read: sexual). The push-ups are hard though--but satisfying! :D

Well, sure, yeah.... jeremytblack March 10 2008, 06:18:39 UTC
Of course you ramble! My God, how you ramble! I didn't say you didn't ramble, did I? Because, honey, you do ramble. But it is an enjoyable ramble.

No, seriously, your phrasing and descriptive abilities made me think how utterly stupid I was at 20. Now, true, I had been living out in the wild world for about three years at that point, and wouldn't start college for another three, so I wouldn't have gotten the various references you bandy about. Sure, I'd read Plato's Republic and EM Forster's Maurice, but otherwise it was all that fun junk we've been discussing with crossthebar; but overall your expressive ability in such rambles lends a substantial poignancy to..... Okay, I'm putting myself to sleep.

Glad that you're getting off crunching your own butt. Please continue to enjoy.

I'm not sure whether to be offended or amused by that first part...

As to my expressiveness, well, *yeah*; if I want to be a writer, I consider it my sworn duty to at least *try* and express myself as clearly as possible. But, it's kinda crazy, I don't know where I learned or picked up half the words and references I do...

Thirdly: hush!
