Snow? plastic?  Nets?  Close...these are spider webs.  The wet weather in southern NSW has created perfect conditions for wolf spiders to have fun.  Read about them here:

OH HOLY HELLZ BELLZ!!!

If something like that were going on around here, I'd be outta there. In about half a second. I can stand one, two, or maybe a five spiders - but MILLIONS!!! OMFGWTFBBQ!!!

Unless those spiders are of the "adorably Disney-esque" variety, with little shoes and cute little smiles on their cute little 8-eyed faces, weaving all that silk into dresses for the drag queens that live in those hovels...I mean "Rustic Cabins" ;o) ...then I'm with dan4behr and am gettin' out the RAID and sprayinig a path to freedom!!! @_@

No! One came scooting out from under the wardrobe, a few years ago, and CHARGED AT ME!!!!!!!!!
I have tiny black spiders all over the lawn, and I've found a few black widows in the living room and kitchen, but THOSE puppies are scary!

black widows are called redbacks here. they arent very fast so its easy to squash them.
There is alot of popular folklore about redbacks under the toilet seat - in the outback dunny. Always check first!
