Santa Hat Day

bearpawly decreed that Dec 15 is Santa Hat Day. I was Santa for a children's party today.  No traditional costume..it was Cowboy Santa.
I am still tasting the beard spray after several hours and a shower....

I've read of Santa's working with colorists, who strip the beard for the season, then retouch it back to normal.

A friend who did professional Santa work bleached his beard one year but over the course of the holidays the bleach made it very brittle and damaged. It never grew quite ash lushly afterwords. So be careful.
