TLTWATW is one of my favourite books of all-time and probably the defining novel of my childhood, and I just don't see how they can capture what it means to me with a bunch of CGI and special effects. I don't know, the idea just really bothers me. Also, they made Aslan sound like a pansy.
But Tilda Swinton as the White Witch = the most brilliant casting choice ever! That woman sends chills down my spine just LOOKING at her.
Ok, I get that. That's sort of how I feel about Harry Potter, except I know how bad they are. At least you can't be sure that it's going to be 100% awful!
The only thing I've noticed is that all the kids except Edmund seem to have really big lips. *shrug*
The movie was incredible and awesome and all manner of such adjectives. The scriptwriters were able to bring the book to the big screen so flawlessly, the movie is even better than the book, in my opinion. It was great to see the book come alive before my very eyes. Visually stunning and simply incredible -- I think it'll please every Narnia fan alive. I know I may be mistrusted after saying that HP:GOF (the movie) was good, but I don't think any fan would not be pleased after seeing the movie.
Yo, seven lines on the awesomeness of Narnia, hahaha. Anyway, when is the movie premiere in Australia?
