Parkinson,
As per our agreement, I am passing on information. I'm sure you can get this to the proper person.

River

[scrawled at the bottom of River's letter]

Mr. and Mrs. Goyle, (and no no I couldn't resist that!)

I do hope you'll consider the request. Yes, I did read it. The man should know by now that I know all the charms he uses on his correspondences. He really does seem sincere. When has Draco ever written that much when it wasn't for an essay? Just think before you reply, for me, for him, for everyone. And for fucks sake, talk sense into him!

Pansy

[the actual letter to Greg]

Master Gregory V. Goyle,

I know that I've never been the sort of bloke to ask for help, or to admit when I'm wrong. And boy, have I been wrong. Over the years I've been a right bastard to you, never giving you the respect you deserved. I know I've done nothing to merit what I am about to ask of you, but please realise that I don't ask for myself but rather on behalf of a woman whom I care a great deal for. Who I love.

If you've not set this alight or ripped it to shreds as of yet, I am grateful. I realise you must be thinking 'you greedy little bastard, you've made your bed now lie in it'. I am no longer a shadow of my father, I swear that on my mother's life. I've come to terms with the plethora of mistakes I've made and the damage I've caused. I can't go back and fix things, I can only move forward and hope that you have it in you to forgive my actions.

I find myself in need of your assistance. Seeing as both Tracey and Pansy have disappeared as well as you and Abelinda vanishing shorting after what happened to your parents... well, all these things combined tell me that you may be the only one who can help me.

Still reading? Dear Merlin, I hope so

If so, would you find it in yourself to take in a young woman that I care deeply for? I was a bastard to you, so I'd never kid my self by asking for safe haven for myself, but if I must die during this war, than so be it. Her safety is the most important thing in my life. Not very Slytherin of me I admit, but I am sure if it were you in my place and Tracey in hers, you would make this same decision.

I ask you, Master Goyle, formally, as Master Malfoy to take Ginevra Weasley into your care and protect her as if she were your own.

Will you take this charge?

Sincerely,

Master Draco L. Malfoy
