So the good news of the week is I start full-time on Monday. The same caveat exists that I will not be guaranteed the same status until a new executive director is sitting, but for the next six months or so that status will not change. Hectic!
Sorry I have been slacking as of late, but I am reading and staying up with you guys. I promise. I'm off tomorrow, so I'll try to do a proper update then, but I want to do the name change stuff at the bank and then we are off to B52's and Go-Go's tomorrow night. Fun!

Music, Games, and Stuff
Well, I ended up logging over 44 billable hours for work last week due to the review guide deadline. My supervisor was very appreciative, which is one of the myriad reasons I love this job, but I didn't think it was that big of a deal. If there is a deadline to meet, we have to meet it. Back to the grind
Joe and I both went back to work this week. It was a bit of a transition, especially since I had worked three full days and then two 10-hour days the month before the wedding, so it was nice when I could leave today at noon. And She Was....married!
I'm ba-ack! Did you miss me? Yes, we got hitched, and I am so relieved it is all over. That is to say it was a great day. I was surrounded by my best friends and family, and best of all I get to take Joe home with me for the rest of our lives. The day went off without a hitch, and I wasn't nervous at all. The good, the bad, and the overwhelming
I'll start with the bad, because I really don't want to dwell on it any longer than I have in my own brain. I got a speeding ticket on Tuesday. In a construction zone. So I have to go to court. Apparently in Illinois they take your license when you get a ticket, but I argued that it was my only ID, so I got it back...on a bond. The officer was not ( Read more... ) -
Weiners everywhere
Got back from Philly Bachelorette Rock Star Weekend. Justine can throw a party, for sure. I'm not divulging too many details but there was a limo, four bottles of champagne, and Mountain Dew-flavored vodka. My sister and Alex came up for the silliness. Hooray!

Showered! Again!
Mom came in Saturday for my bridal shower, which was held on Sunday. We had a nice visit. We had lunch in Lincoln Square and I found the second part of my gifts for my girls.
