A few hours had passed, I think. My friends were wondering where I went off to, but nothing major happened. Then two weeks passed, and now I'm here again.

A lot. I'm afraid I don't know when you left, so, I'm not sure what the last thing you are aware of was, but Halloween - if you know the holiday - was actually rather pleasant, for this place. but shortly afterwards, a satellite crashed into the city hall, and a number of monsters emerged. Most inhabitants spent several days after fighting them, and there were a lot of casualties. Rather than choosing to rest once they were defeated, there has been instead been a lot of fighting between citizens.
