It sucks to be sick and have a little one to take care of. Yesterday I was so tired and couldn't nap until K got home. Unfortunately he had a late day due to some crazy bugs that have popped up. By the time that I fell asleep it was near or after 8:00. The little one napped for fifteen minutes. I tried to nap with her. But, she woke up before I was ( Read more... )

I have a pretty good idea what I want to do with my hair. I just haven't gotten around to actually doing it yet. Hopefully I will be able to get my hair cut before we leave for the east coast on June 14th. And when I get back then I can worry about dying it. :) While his mom isn't likely to care and the rest of his relatives may not, I think I'll play it safe. Besides, I'm not sure that I'll have time before the trip anyhow.

That sucks, but I do understand.

I am totally exhausted. Her sleep schedule is so erratic, I can't get any full shut eye, so we both nap all day. It really sucks to not get anything done while doing this.

Hope you feel better soon.

It'll get better with the little one's sleep schedule before you know it. It may feel like forever now. But, in a few months she'll settle down most likely, if not sooner.

Gods I hope so... she is quite a handful these days.

I blame myself, for her being so demanding. I give in far to easily.

Plus, her teeth are hurting her. I saw they had broken through the skin last night - they are on their way. no more gum blocking the little teethies.

Wow! Teeth already?!? How old is she now?

As far as giving in, don't feel bad. Babies are just demanding period. What makes one child more demanding than another in infancy has more to do with their own individual temperament. Right now their wants and needs are the same thing. Being responsive to her cries is a good thing. It will help her to grow up nice and secure. :)

Just remember, if we can't treat them like babies when they are babies, when else can we??? :)
