Wow! Congrats!! You are right that it will make you insane. Just remember that there are a lot of Elders and Pat that can answer any questions you may have, and never be afraid to ask when you don't know something! But don't let them intimidate you either. It's your con, not theirs... I mean ours. OMG! I too am an elder! Jee thanks for reminding me!! But seriously, good luck!!

Like Kim said, lots of advice to be had from the Elders on the Cepheid Listserv, and my advice from personal experience is to make sure that the people you delegate to actually have their shit together and can be trusted to get their jobs done.

Will try to make it to AC40: Flight of the Space Oysters (Alternately: "Over The Hills Have Eyes") next year. If I don't flunk out of Chinese, I'll be getting settled in at Goodfellow AFB, a mere five and a half hour drive away.
