I'm scrambling for a bit of the background, but that's just me, and you explained the new kids (to me) very wonderfully. (I'd never come across Unus and Domino, but the rest were all quite familiar.) Rogue's prioritizing in the fight was brilliant, and Gambit's decision really fit him-- not too hero, not too apathetic. The hints of background between them fit very well, as long as the parallels that neither of them has been lucky. Rogue's bitterness toward Logan really, really comes through here, and that more than anything gives you a lot of latitude in what she'll do next.

This is why I like Rogue and Remy-- even when they're not even sure they're all that friendly, they'll create amazing scenes when the author knows what to do with them.

Thank you! I kind of scrambled to put the background to this together, and like I said up there, I'm still on pretty shaky ground here. Most of the adversaries were chosen pretty randomly, and it probably shows because only a couple of things were important about the fight scene: that Rogue be badly outnumbered, and Lady Deathstrike and Sabretooth. Beyond that, I just picked some characters to throw in to complicate the matter. They've all got reasons to be there, though.

I was really leery of the fight scene, because I didn't want it to come off like Rogue didn't know what she was doing, but she needed to be overwhelmed. I hope that came across. *worries*

Rogue and Remy are just fun to write, to read, to watch. I kind of love them a lot, ngl. :D

A few of the groupings fit together pretty well-- if you have Wanda, you have Pietro, and Sabretooth and Deathstrike are perfect for the "Logan should have been here" feeling. It was definitely enough for your Unnamed Conspirator to think that they could overwhelm Rogue with that group. She was nervous, and that came through, but I liked that she'd had enough training to default to "okay, priorities, Mr. Superspeed goes down first."

Remy-darling is making his life a lovely series of knots, here. He's not going to have fun untangling all of it.
