Day 09 - The most believable relationship?

I was going to go with an actual picture, but Wash with that dorky little innertube is just too adorable to pass up. I love this pairing because it's obvious that they really love each other -- and it's also obvious why -- and yet, they still argue and snap at each other, and neither of them are defined by their relationship with the other, and Wash gets jealous and Zoe gets annoyed but at the end of the day they still love each other. I lovelovelove War Stories, where they're arguing over a legitimate cause (and you can see both sides of the argument! Neither of them is painted as obviously wrong or clearly right!) but then Wash gets captured and Zoe gets really... Zoe about it, and then she doesn't even let Niska finish his sentence, she chooses to save Wash so fast. And then! They're arming themselves together to fight and it's wonderful and I love it.
And he's NOT dead. End of discussion.
In other news, I totally jumped on the bandwagon with the Doomed Ship Comment Ficathon, but nothing's been filled yet. Also? There is a heinous lack of Avatar prompts there, srsly guys get on this.
