I think it works the other way too, as someone who is a Christian but was brought up basically non-religious (in a historically-Christian culture, but in a family that didn't believe in God or go to church ever).
It feels to me like my System 2 (deliberate conscious thought) is Christian, but my System 1 (fast/intuitive instinctive reactions) is atheist.
