Jesus Christ, I despair of Czech politics at the moment. That Capi Hnizdo luxury sports centre that was paid for with the fraudulent EU grant is next to the village where my in-laws live. I watched it being built over the course of several visits. This is a village, I must point out, which a quarter of a decade after communism still has no means water, mains sewers or mains gas. Yet it has a luxury sports centre.
