I can emphasise with that article on nurses. At work we recently needed to train a couple of people to drive a fork-lift truck. Basically the company send staff to the local training centre for a week to learn to drive a fork-lift and take the relevant test. It's all paid for and you end up with a qualification. We offered it to all the staff in our production dept. and not one female was interested. The reason they all gave was "that's a man's job".

Ah well - we tried.

Yeah, there's a limit to what you can do. Such a shame that so many people feel that way though!
