For our wedding anniversary, we did a cooking workshop with friends and family at Eetverleden ("Eating History"), which is run by a historian researching food. She assembles and studies historic cookbooks and ingredients. Her cooking workshops are quite fun as well: she tells a lot about the herbs and spices, how she found sources of the more esoteric ingredients etcetera.
