PoliticalCompass: Apparently, you and I are quite close ideologically speaking. That was unexpected.

I'm sure there are huge gaps in the quiz which would allow us to still differ greatly on the details :-)

Certainly. But, it got me thinking. Like, maybe my perception of you as a "A generally good person who I disagree with about many things" is really 'My perception of a good person is one whom I agree with about most things". Thereby making any perception of general "disagreement", just a lot of hair splitting.

But, ya know, I've hit the bong this morning. I could, in fact, be mistaken.

I've been meaning to get Stellaris for a while - it's from the people who brought us Cities:Skylines, after all, which I'm having a lot of fun with, and that's before the next expansion that brings us ferrie, larger train stations, monorails, cable cars and zeppelins!

Yeah. They seem to understand how to make games fun.

Stellaris, much like Crusader Kings 2, is fun once you get past a pretty tough learning curve, navigate a rather cluttered UI and (crucially) sink a lot of time into it. They are not games that rewards just a couple of hours here and there, unless those couple of hours and up to tens or more.

Stellaris is great, highly recommended. Not least cos there's a huge mod community and a big stack of DLC already. I haven't played the big expansion yet, but post this particular deadline that's what I'm doing.

I don't think that from "agree" to "disagree" is the right axis for these "what is your preferred ideology" quizzes. It would be more useful if it ran from "Never" to "Always" for each policy choice with as many stops as possible along the way.
