There's a certain irony amongst the new LJ ToS fuss that the first thing I see today is a Russian poster in a Russian pictures community posting a cartoon of a woman being 'hilariously' raped by a gorilla at the zoo.

It's heterosexual so it's okay? I dunno. It was done in the style of a sunday newspaper cartoon, couldn't read the Cyrillic of course. But, yeah. Todays wtf moment. Wonder if that pictures community will delete/block/ban/tos-nuke it.

The difference between 2015 and the next election is between a Labour Party lead by Ed Miliband, aiming for a narrow 38% win, and a Labour Party lead by Jeremy Corbyn aiming for a devastating 20% loss. So why do the Tories care if they lose a handful of seats back to the LibDems?

OK, but the story was in the context of Lynton Crosby telling Theresa May about the polls in LibDem areas. Surely "we'd lose 20 seats" would have to be put in the same context as "we'd gain 100+ others", though?

As a Prime Minister with a narrow majority and a number of pissed-off ex-ministers on the back-benches, you'd have thought it would be in her interest to get a whole bunch of new MPs elected who owed their jobs to her.

I still think "Shame to waste Corbyn on a snap election" is the best explanation of why Theresa May hasn't dissolved parliament yet.
