Theresa May to trigger article 50 on 29 March a_pawson March 20 2017, 12:38:08 UTC
Can we buy tickets? I assume it will be an extravaganza like no other: screened live on the BBC; littered with celebrities; culminating with Nigel Farage skydiving from a helicopter into Wembley stadium, drinking a proper British pint of ale before pulling a giant lever which will set off a trebuchet to launch 28 randomly selected remoaners across the channel.

I'd watch that, if Farage would do the skydive without parachute.

What's the concept at the first link? I don't know how to get past the no-ad-block.

Not the same issue, but related and possibly something you want to link.

I don't have any kind of blocking on the first article. Opens both with adblock on (for Firefox) and in IE (no adblock). Albeit with a warning sign if adblock is on (but you can page down past it). If you can't get it working, email me and I'll send you a PDF.

I saw Scott's thing, and I largely agree. I shouldn't be asked to log in unless it's actually necessary.

Meet the Artist Using Ritual Magic to Trap Self-Driving Cars -> "Meet the Artist Who Wishes He Could Be Using Ritual Magic to Trap Self-Driving Cars".

"I don't actually have a self-driving car, unfortunately"

Nice scenery, though.

"Also, I should have pulled my trousers up for the video."

Apart from that.

That whole thing has made me decide that I have a future in post-modern art.

I've played 5 hours of the trial and thus far I strongly disagree with RPS about Andromeda.

The game is far from flawless, and some of the animation flaws are downright embarrassing, but on the whole it's been a rather excellent game so far.

There's been a lot of inarticulate 'F*** you EA!' screaming, some cherry-picked and in some cases outright photoshopped stills used to attack it, plus some weirdly nasty attacks on one of Bioware's female devs about it.

Fully intend to report back in full once the full game drops, but by and large I'm quite annoyed by the general reaction to it.

It's almost as if the wider community -wants- it to follow the classic '90s and '00s sci-fi series pattern: a celebrated series is followed up by a short-lived spin-off that showed great promise but had just as many rough edges as the original to begin with, and never got the funding to continue.
