This has all the makings of a cool cyberpunk RPG scenario: extract the artist off the ship, while pirates are making their move to steal the cargo and the security forces on board are preparing to defend...

Oddly, that article made me think of a game scenario, though I thought of a strategy game based round corporate politics / profits.

I should have tried harder at "live fast die young". I'm not looking forward to all that. But maybe epically clever tech might save the day... you never know.
But it's hard to be optimistic, and therefore hard to take planning life all that seriously. Mind you, if we manage to solve the issues well enough to have the luxury of show trials - I'll sit back and enjoy with you.

When I saw the word planet in this entry at first I was like "No Man's Sky? :D" then... nope, lol. Got my hopes up.
My youngest kid loves that game. :P
