A lot more people have died in the Met's custody than at Fabric in the same period. And the government can't stop drugs getting into prisons, so how could bouncers be expected to stop them getting into a nightclub.

Also, crucially, Fabric was being closed so it could be sold off to build luxury flats because the council is short of cash. The drugs were just an excuse.
