As to the female pubic hair stuff from what I can tell from the hundreds of comments on Jezebel I just read about it what women mean by "hygiene" is that the more pubes you have the more of a pain in the ass it is to get blood out of your pubes when you have your period.

(Please note I am not trying to mansplain and am not saying that Jezebel comment people are the most sane people on Earth. I'm just saying that this is an explanation that makes a lot of sense to me.)

It's hilarious. Exactly why would someone think that shaving your anus was all about preparing for anal sex. Don't they poop too? What does "cleaner" mean to them?
