My experience with dating sites is that if you are female and list yourself as "bisexual" you get tons of people asking you for threesomes but if you are male and list as "bisexual" instead you get a lot of young women who have a fetish for bisexual dudes and roughly zero couples (and pretty damn close to zero men.)

The one exception to this I noticed was a black male bisexual friend. He got responses from tons of couples - mostly really fucked up ones that were variations of "I want to see my husband/boyfriend suck big nigger cock."

Obviously purely anecdotal your YMMV.

I get about a 60/30/10 split on messages from men/women/genderqueer people. I've never had messages from a couple.

How do people justify earning more than others? cartesiandaemon April 29 2016, 14:05:05 UTC
I've been trying to think about what people "deserve", in the context of socialism, capitalism, and how society ought to be ordered ( ... )

1) I'd be curious as to which Watership Down characters those actors will voice. Also, I wonder about boosting the female characters. True that there's much room for that, and even truer that actual rabbit society is vastly less human-style sexist than depicted in the book (pooh on the people who rebut accusations of its sexism by saying "They're rabbits": those people know nothing); but despite that, the book's been over-criticized (Ursula Le Guin claimed that the females in Efrafa have no voice in their escape/abduction, which is the opposite of true); and I hope that, whatever the adapters do, they don't adopt the mode of the book sequel, which was so self-consciously sexually egalitarian that it made my teeth ache ( ... )

Touch screens losing their sensitivity: you might be unlucky. I've never had that problem on either of my iPads or iPhones.

Your own personal device is unlikely to get that heavy a use. I've only had this problem on public screens, like ATMs.

Ah - didn't realise you were talking about ATMs and things. (Touch screens on train ticket machines sound like likely candidates for this sort of thing as well.)

As a rule, the screens on those things are older and less accurate than the screens on phones and tablets, though.

Not sure about the Watership Down "give a boost to its female characters" thing - the cast being male-dominated is pretty much the plot. With more female characters, at least in the first half, there's no reason to go to Efrafa.

But then, this is just one random sentence at the end of a news article.

You can get around that.

First, giving bigger roles to the females from Efrafa would be a huge improvement to this problem without having to change the storyline at all.

Secondly, remember that the warren had acquired a female hutch rabbit or two already before the first expedition to Efrafa came back. They just weren't enough females. So, yes, you could put females in the earlier part of the book without destroying the plot motivations.
