I think it's also clearly Tory policy to drive the criminal aid lawyers out of work, so that people will also need private insurance if they ever want to get any sort of legal representation too.

Christ though, they're clearly operating on the remit of destroying the welfare state in the UK though aren't they. Fuck the poor, just let them die.

Oh, yes, it seems to me that it's been pretty obvious for several years that the E.U. (Troika, Germany, & others) are perfectly willing to destroy Greece & its Government, and adopt policies that deliberately result in the untimely deaths of thousands of Greek people, simply to establish that they Run Things and are the Dominant Power. I think they'll destroy the E.U. as they do this, which makes me sad, but we Old Geezers are (in some ways) used to having to accept such stuff.
