So she wins a discrimination claim for being discriminatory?

I _suspect_ that the issue is the way she phrased it, and some combination of not being given a warning by her boss/them not following procedures.

We have mandatory diversity training at work, and I suspect a fair chunk of that is so that we have no excuse...

You know, there are times I'm really glad to be self employed and working from home!

The Scotland item also gives me brain ache! Just what is wrong with these people? All those places are places of utter magic for me. Why in God's name go all the way to Scotland or even more bogglingly, Orkney (not a cheap item be it said) to pooh pooh what you are seeing? It's amazing how many places in the world aren't %&*! Disneyland!

Also, if her account of the conversation is accurate, it was in response to her colleague asking her a direct question about her beliefs. In those circumstances it seems unreasonable to expect someone to lie.

What also scares me is that presumably at some other sites, someone in uniform yelling loudly is just let through, and that's mostly "good enough" security :(
