I was referred to by Red Jenny a few months ago as having the superpower of fucking up massively, causing a shit ton of drama, then leveling up.

Bart has it on the money.

Yup. I'd always advise people to be vocal about their beliefs, but willing to accept that those beliefs are wrong. If you never speak up, you'll never be corrected, and if you never listen, you'll always be wrong.

(You can, theoretically, learn without speaking up, but people seem to be staggeringly bad at that, and having the feedback loop is really helpful.)

I firmly believe that those girls who have been forced to bring their rape-induced babies to term by the U.S. agencies have every moral right to toss those babies into the trash-bin/garbage as soon as they are unobserved.

I'd rather they would be able to put them up for adoption, preferably here in the U.S., but... you know... I rather doubt that many of our Republicans/Conservatives/Christians would actually go so far as to adopt them, and our Democrats/Liberals already have their hands full in adopting unwanted children (including inter-racial ones and those resulting from local rape). [Not that the Boko Haram spawn are necessarily unwanted by their mothers once they are born, but I find it entrely credible that a 12- or 13-year old child would be totally unable to cope with a baby that was forced upon her by a rapist and the American Government. And I see no reason she should not detest both of those entities for the rest of her life.]

Is something inadequate about my feeds? apostle_of_eris June 6 2015, 02:57:00 UTC
As I understand it, Greece actually can pay its debts, just not as fast as the finger-in-their-ears-LA-LA-LA-LA German banks non-negotiably demand.
So why do I keep reading about Greece and the Greeks and nothing about the gnomes of Berlin?

Yup, exactly. What Greece wants is to avoid getting into more debt, just to get out of this one. Which seems perfectly reasonable. Give them space, let them turn themselves around, and they'll be fine.
