I can't even imagine how many people will be waking up to find blackmail emails from Nigerian Princes in their inboxes over the next few weeks.

I'd imagine it would be pretty easy to cross reference the database with Facebook and figure out which people on the dating website are either married or identified as straight.

Also this whole thing with Uber trying to insist that their drivers are independent contractors is because they know they are doomed if they get classified as employees ( ... )

Uber is bogus and transient.

I am slightly surprised at the price the DWP got for those IP addresses - I expected more... Maybe they should have waited six months.

Possibly.

After all, we're not all going to be on IPV6 for a few years.

I'm still waiting for BT or Virgin to finally start rolling it out.

Sky have apparently run lots of testing with their own staff, and are going to test with customers soon.

(I have no idea why I find this so fascinating - but it's rare for a week to go by without me checking both http://www.google.com/ipv6/statistics.html and http://www.potaroo.net/tools/ipv4/index.html to see what the current state is.)
