The smartphone chart might be useful for someone already familiar with smartphones who's planning to buy a new one right now. It'll rapidly get outdated unless it's updated. But it also has lots of stuff that's meaningless to anyone who doesn't already know about the phones already. It's my understanding that there's a huge culture war over this smartphone OS vs. that one (Android, and what are the others? I forget), similar to the one between Windows and Mac. I've used both Windows and Mac so I know the difference, but I'm completely clueless as to the content difference between any smartphone OS and another.

I might like such a tool, but it'll be difficult to find one useful for me. For instance, that review you link to praises the "slick interface." Knowing what passes for slick interfaces with computers, that's a warning bell for me.
