> “No you didn’t. I have it written down.”

Wow. That's bloody awful. The correct reply is, 'I'm very sorry, there must have been a mix-up in the kitchen. Let me see what I can do to fix it.'

I was seated at a new restaurant, and waited ages to have someone take my order. Eventually I got up and left. A guy in a suit stopped me, and asked me why I was leaving. I said I had been waiting for 45 minutes, and nobody had come to take my order. He said that he was the manager, and was offended that I would make such a lie. He had been timing me, and it had only been 42 minutes.

Some people should not be allowed to work in customer service jobs.

On a positive note, the Toronto Star gave that restaurant its first zero-star rating (out of five), and they went out of business.

Unfortunately, the bookstore attached to the restaurant also closed.

Not just the Labour party getting wiped out in Scotland, the Lib Dems getting annihilated too. Down to 1 projected MP. Cataclysmic shift in Scottish politics according to that poll.

Oh yes. But that's probably going to have less effect.

Yeah. Although, well, it renders the Lib dems almost non-viable as a party. They've certainly got no chance on these numbers of being in government again, they're simply not going to have enough seats to bargain a place in coalition with.

I think you're absolutely right, these numbers does point towards the SNP holding hte balance of power.

An SNP/Tory coalition?! Surely not. :)
