I'm generally against the US or the UK getting involved in fights in the Middle East. On the other hand, when a group starts getting into the habit of cutting off people's heads on television I feel like you sort of have to go after them.

The problem is that the thinking tends to go "Something must be done, and this is something." rather than actually coming up with a plan that will successfully improve the situation.

Do you have any ideas about what might work?

Isn't fracking to do with gas rather than oil?

It's used for both, apparently.

They're often coresident and it helps with both.
In the US, we used nuclear explosives as fracking agents at one point. It worked great, if you didn't mind radioactive natural gas.

It's like this government are actively ~trying~ to push people to vote for UKIP. They'll lose a ton of votes over the Fracking thing.

I approve and demand more beer pipelines in cities around the world. Why should Bruges get all the good stuff?

I live in the county where all the students are walking out. It's a fairly big deal: middle of the day, four hundred kids lining the street with signs and yelling, in multiple places around the city. I'm quite enthusiastic about this.
