I'm not sure if anything has ever said 'meal for one' more clearly than a chicken tikka yorkshire pudding.

I'm not sure what's going on here?
Is it allegedly Icelandic food? or is it for Iceland?
I worry about any food that would cost that amount.

I think I'll make that for dinner this week and see what happens. Maybe next week, it's my birthday this week.

You're in the US? You don't have to overthink it, it's just a store specialising in cheap frozen food. Ice-land.

They do sometimes play on the name, such as with an advertising slogan that says "No wonder Mum's gone to Iceland!"

I sincerely love the idea that Icelandic cuisine is chicken tikka in a Yorkshire pudding.

Should I confess that my mother used to serve mashed potato with her homemade curry when I was a kid? It was all my Dad's fault - Irish blood and all that ;)

My grandmother's fixation on take-out Chinese as THE easy way to feed a small crowd went right along with my grandfather's having a couple of slices of rye bread (w/ caraway seeds) with dinner, regardless.
