That news should be reported "the CIA claims to have stopped lying about vaccination programmes, no really, you can totally trust them this time". Because obviously all the people who are suspicious of CIA use of vaccination programmes are going to believe the CIA when it says it's not misusing them any more.

It's hard for me to articulate how angry this scheme makes me. The damage will persist for decades.

There should be a rule "If what you're doing was published on the front page of the major newspapers tomorrow, who would be hurt? If it's children and aid workers then DON'T DO IT!"

Good days and bad days with it.

Much harder to stick to it lately because it's so sunny I'm sitting outside cafes rather than inside cafes.

It was far easier in winter to be good about it.

It’s very clear that the reviewer doesn’t like Coldplay and doesn’t like them because they are bland but I don’t think that review demonstrates that blandness to me.

It makes sense that mass murderers would have physical problems with the parts of the brain that control empathy and fitting in with social norms. So I guess autism, head injuries, all manner of things.

I don't quite know how I feel about the pedophile article. I believe the science. I just don't know if I would want them rehabilitated or else shot as teenagers before they can do any real harm. I suppose, in the end, if we could erase that part of the brain or rewire it or something it would do a lot better.

I strongly suspect that there are a large chunk of paedophiles out there who aren't harming anyone, because they control their urges.

After all, for someone to abuse children they need to both want to _and_ do so. If I found myself attracted to children then I'd be keeping it very-much to myself and keeping myself away from kids as much as possible.

I think the tax calcs in the UKIP tax policy are wrong.

I think the author has incorrectly applied the personal allowance.

Does anyone else concur?

Ah - the link to an article about UKIP tax policy is actually a Draxar link. I’d remembered seeing a UKIP story here and been so distracted trying to prove out the tax calcs I’d forgotten which link was which.
