Nude swimming! I seemed to have missed out on all the good things. (Until now, of course. I have my own pool and no swim suits.)

I believe that back in the 1800's American college students also wrestled naked. Those were the days.

There was a case I read up in at law school about nude swimming in Scotland in the 1800’s which found that swimming nude was not public indency and that being nude in a place one would expect nudity and for a reason one would expect nudity was not public indency.

This feels like an expression of something that's well-known, that the definition of public decency is entirely situational. The classic example being, of course, that if you're on a beach wearing a bikini you're considered clothed, but if you're in the street wearing a bra and underwear, you're considered undressed, even though the same area of skin is exposed.

A smaller innate lag could explain a lot of clumsiness/dyspraxia. I've got a book somewhere (in other words, no cite) which claims that some "mental" disorders are actually undiagnosed sensory problems.

I'd realized that prison rape is a serious problem, but it hadn't occurred to me that non-sexual assault in prisons presumably doesn't show up in the crime statistics, either.

I knew the loading problem was "malicious ads, underhandedly inserted by scum[1]". That was easy to tell. But the greasemonkey fix was nice.

Thank you for the nude swimming link. I had a very similar experience to the author where my now 72 year old father casually mentioned that his catholic school had swimming lessons at the local Y and they had to swim nude. Of course my siblings and I were very "WTF????!!!????" about this bit of news and thought there was some shenanigans going on. *whew*
