CBT -- I was under the strong impression that "cure" correlated with therapist, not school of therapy. (The only school of therapy I trust is eclectic.) Wasn't Leary's three thirds study back in the 1950's? (The discovery that a third of patients get better, a third get worse, and a third are about the same, regardless of whether they receive therapy at all.)
"crisis" -- I want to throttle the ivory tower scoundrel who invented a definition of "recovery" which shows there is one.
